I had a great time shooting Christine and Stephen’s wedding last month. We started off the day at Primp Salonbar, which is a really cool place for the bride and her entourage to hang out and have fun while they get ready. Aside from great staff, the full bar certainly adds to the festivities!

From there we headed over to St. Mary’s School, which is home to a lovely little chapel that dates back to the early 19th century. Christine went to high school there, so it provided a beautifully intimate and meaningful backdrop for the ceremony.

The day itself was grey and thundery all day until just before the ceremony when the sun finally broke through. This was good to see as St. Mary’s has beautiful grounds to take advantage of for the pictures of the couple and their friends and family. I was worried that the rain would put a literal dampener on that, but we were lucky enough to get 30 minutes or so before heading over to the NC State University Club for the reception.

Again, it was a great day and I thoroughly enjoyed myself with Christine, Stephen and their loved ones. Here are a few of my favourites from their big day.
