I still feel like a relative newbie in the Raleigh wedding photographer community so it’s always great to be able to check a new venue I haven’t worked in before off the list. So I was really happy to finally be able to get to have a look at All Saints Chapel in downtown Raleigh for Jessica and Joshua’s wedding a few weeks back. It’s a fabulous little place with a load of charm that lends a real feeling of intimacy to the ceremony. Of course, the gorgeous light pouring through the stained glass windows behind the altar wasn’t bad either!
The reception was held at Driftwood Southern Kitchen in Lafayette Village in North Raleigh. It’s a pretty new venue and I believe this was the first time they had actually staged a reception, which was amazing as everything ran like clockwork. On that note, big thanks to Shawn Schindler and her team at Your Special Day for running such a well-oiled machine. It was great working with such a fab team of vendors who totally hit it out of the park.
Of course the real story of the day was the amazing amount of warmth and love on show between Jessica and Josh and their family and friends. It really was such a lovely day for Jimmy and me to be a part of and I very much enjoyed looking back through the pictures and reliving all the beautiful moments we documented.
Here are just a few of my faves from the day:
