Kate and Luke were married last month in a really lovely, intimate Melrose Knitting Mill wedding and I was honoured to be there with a camera (or five) to document it. After meeting with Kate and her cortège at the salon, we headed over to the Knitting Mill and its sister restaurant, Babylon, where they all got ready. Despite the weather forecast predicting storms, we were blessed with a lovely sunny day and we took full advantage of it with a first look at a portrait session at the NC State Capitol Building. From there, back to the mill for the ceremony and reception, which were all beautifully decorated and coordinated by Chad Biggs and his team of expert vendors. While Chad and his team flipped the room for the reception, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour around the pool at Babylon. Following the couple’s entrance and first dance, a sumptuous dinner was served, after which DJ Collin Y literally got the floor shaking with his awesome tunes. As you can see in the pics, a good time was had by all!
