It’s super busy in the studio working on weddings, so just a quick post today; this time from a recent bridal session down in beautiful New Bern. Christina married her Beau this past weekend, so I am now finally able to share some of my faves from this session. The location for this shoot was Beau’s grandparents’s house by the river where the ceremony also took place. You can see we had plenty of room to play and experiment. Bridal sessions are a lot of fun and I always enjoy this time one-on-one to get to know my brides and, once we have some traditional photos out of the way, try something a bit different. They really are a true collaboration that reflects the personality and tastes of each of my brides along with my own.
Here are just a few of my faves from this fun session. See if you can guess which photo the bride chose to print out for the wedding day…
Geek info: these were all shot on a Sony a7iii with a variety of prime lenses, both ancient and modern, using available light only.
