Hey guys,
I hope you all are looking forward to the holidays and seeing the back of of 2020! Most people know me as a wedding photographer, but, aside from the photojournalistic part of my job, portraiture is a big part of what I do and I take tens of family photos at every wedding I do. One of the positives of this very special year is that it has freed up a lot of my time and so I’m actually able to photograph more families sessions outside of weddings than I would normally.
This is a family session I did a couple of weeks ago over on the campus at UNC. I met up with Jackie and her lovely family about an hour before sunset and we went for a relaxed walk around Coker Arboretum and a couple of my favourite spots around McCorkle Place. It was definitely a bit chilly but the gorgeous golden hour sunlight combined with the colours of the fall foliage made for perfect conditions for getting a good selection of photos.
If you’re interested in booking a family session, there’s still time to get them in for holiday cards. Just drop us a line by visiting our contact page here.
Here are just a few of my personal favourites from the session. Have a great week, all!
