Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great Easter weekend. I’m gearing up for a wedding later today, but wanted to take the chance to follow up on the engagement season theme I posted about last week. So here we go with some of my fave photos from Kate & Martin’s UNC Chapel Hill engagement photography session from last Monday evening.
This was actually the second engagement session for these two; their last one was on a rainy afternoon back in November 2019 ahead of their planned wedding in summer 2020. Of course, since then COVID hit and they were forced to push their wedding back to summer 2021. One of the benefits of the pandemic causing so many weddings to be postponed is I get to go out and spend more quality time with my couples on shoots like these.
For this shoot, I met up with Kate & Martin at Tru in downtown Chapel Hill. We sat outside on the deck for a drink and a catch-up enjoying the spring sunshine. From there, we headed out for a wander around the UNC campus with no real plan; just looking for light and interesting places to shoot in. As you can see, we covered a bit of ground in order to get a good variety of shots. The light was truly yummy that day and I had a lot of fun shooting in it.
Here are just some of my faves from Kate & Martin’s session. I’m looking forward to seeing them again this summer for their Cotton Room wedding!
Have a great week all!
