A quick post and run again today as I’m knee-deep in editing weddings from this autumn and just wanted to come up for air and share something a bit different from this special day of Duke Gardens wedding photography.
When Hannah and Johnny decided to cancel their original wedding plans due to COVID, they chose instead to take their original date and dedicate it to taking portraits both as a couple and with Hannah’s family.
We started out at Hannah’s house where she got ready with her mum and sisters. After a first look with Johnny, we spent some time taking family photos before heading out for their Duke Gardens wedding photography portrait session. We wrapped the shoot with a cold beer and a chat in the car park.
Here are just a few of my faves from Hannah & Johnny’s unique day…
After the first look we spent some time taking pics with Hannah’s family. Here are just a few, but we took a lot!
And from there we headed out to Duke Gardens. I always try to take a different route in order to allow me to see things differently, and this time we definitely hit up some new spots. The golden hour light was simply beautiful.
Geek info: shot on a combination of Fuji GFX, Fuji XT-3 & Sony a7iii cameras with a variety of weird and wonderful lenses.
