I’ve been reflecting a lot over the last few days. I don’t know about you, but 2022 continues to pass by in a total blur for me. My girls seem to have gone from being children to young adults in the blink of an eye. The passing of time definitely helps me see the value of photography. The snapshots we mindlessly took on our phones in years gone by bring back so many great memories of them growing up. I know from feedback from past clients that they feel the same way when looking back on their photos. I can already see the same is going to be true of Jennifer & Stefan’s Historic Wakefield Barn wedding photography. So many great moments surrounded by loving friends and family. It really was a joy to be there and witness it all.
Yesterday, I posted Jessica & Stefan’s engagement session at the Biltmore so definitely check that out if you missed it. Rather than giving a running commentary on what happened through the day, I’d rather just let the images tell the story. And, if you scroll to the bottom, you’ll see some selections from their post-wedding session at Duke.
Here are just a few of my selections from Jennifer & Stefan’s wedding day. Congrats, guys!
As an added bonus, here are a few of the images we took for Jennifer & Stefan’s post wedding session around Duke University where they both work. These sessions are great for people who want to get as many portraits as we would during an engagement or bridal session. Obviously a wedding day has a tight timeline and we rarely get more than a few minutes for pictures, so a post-wedding session is a great idea to take the pressure off and let you enjoy your day. In Jennifer & Stefan’s case, it also allowed them to bring in some different locations that had special meaning for them.
